Supposed to be a collections of search inputs I used at times I didn't find what I wanted and got really frustrated. Just doing my bit to build a better world. Google and MSFT would pay millions for this sort of feedback, but I just do it to be a nice guy.

which file tells Windows XP what programs to run at startup

Didn't get anything useful with this one.

Windows XP hangs after login mouse keyboard no response

After I login, I can play around for about 3 seconds. After that, the mouse pointer becomes the hourglass - forever.

Confounded and Frustrated

In living memory I believe I have visited a site called soccertv.com or soccertv.net where I could see who would be showing what. Couldn't find anything. Worser and worser, I couldn't find anything sensible for "famous battles American civil war." Then, wondering if I might be able to catch some of Spain-Sweden, I visit espn.com and find it's the worst designed website I've ever seen. Sink them! Freaks don't have the word "Schedule" anywhere in sight.

Clickable Text Field

Anyone know how to set up your page such that you have a text field already displaying stuff and the user can click in it to select all of the text? Google's figured this out but I'm not able to get it using the View-Source of IE (IE really sucks doesn't it?).

I tried this search and it got me nothing (google and dogpile):

"how to create a text field that user can click in to select text"

BTW, I know how to put a button next to the text field that the user can click to select all the text, but I think letting the user click on the text itself is more friendly.
